Inter Milan chiefs are still trying to persuade midfielder Juan Veron to see out the final year of his contract.
Veron is tied to Inter until 2007, but wants to return to Argentina at the end of this season to be closer to his family.
However, Inter patron Massimo Moratti and president Giacinto Facchetti haven't given up on the midfielder and are planning more talks to persuade the Argie to play on next season.
