The FC Internazionale Milano forward Julio Cruz has extended his contract by two years until 2008.
The 31-year-old Argentinian joined Inter from Bologna FC in summer 2003 and scored seven and five goals respectively in his first two campaigns. Cruz is now enjoying his best season for the Nerazzurri, finding the net eight times in 21 Serie A matches (12 as a substitute) and three times in five UEFA Champions League appearances. Inter are in Amsterdam this week for the first leg of their UEFA Champions League Round of 16 tie with AFC Ajax.
