Press conference before friendly game with Croatia (2 Mar 2006 03:24 GMT)
Pekerman has announced names of players that will start friendly game with Croatia which begins tonight at 19:15 GMT at Sankt Jakob stadium in Basilea (not Geneva as it was announced earlier). The squad includes Abbondanzieri; Coloccini, Burdisso, Samuel, Sorín; Demichelis, Cambiasso; Riquelme; Messi, Crespo and Tevez.
There was also press conference with Jose Pekerman today. He confirmed that most players called-up for the games will play in Germany as long as they remain fully fit and in good form. Pekerman made note he didn't close doors before Argentina league young starts Sergio Agüero and Daniel Bilos as well as national team stars Javier Saviola and Javier Zanetti.
