Barcelona playmaker Lionel Messi is facing a month on the sidelines after tearing a muscle in his right leg during Tuesday's 1-1 draw against Chelsea.
The Argentina international limped off after just 25 minutes of the Champions League last 16 tie, but Barca shrugged off his absence to record a 3-2 aggregate victory against the Premiership champions.
The Primera Liga leaders will now have to manage without the 18-year-old for both legs of the quarter-final, which are scheduled for the last week in March and first week in April.
