Argentine forward Carlos Tevez limped off with a knee injury when Brazilian champions Corinthians lost 2-0 to Mexico's UANL in the Libertadores Cup.
Tevez went off in the 78th minute of Thursday night's match in Monterrey and Corinthians officials said he would undergo tests on returning to Brazil before they could comment on the extent of the injury.
"He's out of Sunday's game at least," said coach Antonio Lopes, referring to the derby against Sao Paulo in the Paulista championship. "We can't say anything other than that for now."
