Many of the coaches with teams in the World Cup finals want to extend the deadline for submitting their final 23-man rosters.
FIFA has given a May 15 deadline for submitting the World Cup rosters. But coaches taking part in two-day World Cup workshop said a later deadline would be welcome.
"I think the extension of the deadline would make sense," Brazil coach Carlos Alberto Parreira said Tuesday.
Several leading coaches support the move, including England manager Sven-Goran Eriksson and Germany's Juergen Klinsmann, who did not attend the workshop.
FIFA is expected to discuss the proposal at a meeting in Zurich on March 16.
The June 9-July 9 tournament in Germany brings together 32 nations.
