The Portuguese Press claims that Inter are showing an interest in midfielder Lucho Gonzalez.
Newspaper A Bola suggests that several Nerazzurri scouts have already been to Oporto to view the player and returned with glowing reviews.
It's also reported that Coach Roberto Mancini is pushing for this transfer to be pursued in a bid to strengthen his options in the middle of the park.
Lucho Gonzalez came to their attention when he starred in Porto's 2-0 victory over Inter in the Champions League group phase back in October, 2005.
Gonzalez joined Porto from River Plate in April, 2005, and can play either in front of the defence or as a right-winger.
Inter currently have eight Argentines in their squad.
