Zanetti, Duscher and Demichelis excluded (16 May 2006 04:48 GMT)
Jose Pekerman has given a call to Aldo Duscher, Martin Demichelis and Javier Zanetti to announce they won't be included in Argentina Wolrd Cup squad.
Zanetti: "I am hurt, but football is like that. Pekerman called to me, but I've already knew it for a week. Nobody told me what I did wrong to not be in the World Cup squad. I?m calm because I think I did my best to be on the list and I?ve been always available for the national team when they needed me.We?ll never know if I?ve been excluded because of football reasons or not."
Demichelis: "I have desire neither to play nor to live. A long time ago I stopped living to devote myself to soccer. Now I don't feel like doing anything, or traveling anywhere."
Duscher: "Pekerman called to me and said that I wasn't going to make it. It's his decision and I have to accept it".
