Fiorentina swoop for Santana (28 May 2006 01:37 GMT)
ACF Fiorentina have announced the signing of Argentinian right winger Mario Alberto Santana from US Citta di Palermo for an undisclosed fee.
The 24-year-old has signed a four-year contract with an option for a further season. Last season Santana played 28 games for Palermo and has also previously represented AC Venezia and AC Chievo Verona in Serie A.
