Argentina national team - preparations in Italy (28 May 2006 17:13 GMT)
Argentina's national soccer team arrived in Italy Friday evening (May 26) for the World Cup finals which begins on June 9.
Argentina will stay in Rome until Monday (May 29), when the team will travel to Naples, and then on to Salermo on Tuesday (May 30), where they will play Angola in friendly game.
On arrival, Argentine coach, Jose Pekerman, told reporters that "little by little we are growing, achieving the targets we had planned."
The Angola-Argentina game takes place at 19:00 in the Arechi Stadium. Following the game, the team will travel to Nuremberg, Germany, and then take a coach to Herzogenaurach, a small town 19 km from Nuremberg, where they will be based.
