Liverpool are in tentative talks with Deportivo La Coruna over defender Fabricio Coloccini.
The Argentina international was dropped from coach Joaquin Caparros' squad last week after his agent went public over his frustrations at a lack of first team opportunities this season.
The Guardian says Liverpool have expressed interest in Coloccini, but will only consider the defender for a loan deal.
