Arsenal's new 60,000-seater Emirates Stadium will host a prestigious South American derby between Argentina and Brazil on September 2.
The match is likely to be used as an experiment after disappointing quarterfinal exits to the World Cup finals in Germany last month.
Argentina lost on penalties against the hosts and Brazil went down to eventual finalists France.
The South American neighbors last met at the Confederations Cup final in Germany last year, when Brazil ran out 4-1 winners.
