Inter have declared their interest in Chelsea striker Hernan Crespo as an alternative to Luca Toni and Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
The Argentine international has made no secret of his desire to return to Italy and would accept a transfer to the Nerazzurri, where he already played in 2002 by netting seven goals.
"At this moment I can't say anything, but there is still plenty of time left in the market and Crespo is also a name on our list,? said Inter technical director Marco Branca.
The former Parma and Lazio man has also been linked with moves to Milan, another of his ex clubs, and Roma.
