Crespo set for loan deal at Inter (7 Aug 2006 23:36 GMT)
Chelsea striker Hernan Crespo is set to sign a one-year loan deal with Inter Milan.
The 31-year-old Argentine is willing to take a cut in wages in order to move to the Italian side.
Inter sporting director Marco Branca, a Chelsea representative, and Crespo and his agent Fernando Hidalgo will meet in Milan on Monday to finalise the move.
Crespo recently acquired Italian citizenship and has made no secret of his desire to return to Serie A.
