Prestige friendlies for Argentina (28 Aug 2006 02:57 GMT)
The Argentinian Football Association (AFA) have arranged three high-profile international friendlies against Spain, Germany and France.
So far, the only tie with a confirmed date is the game against this summer's World Cup hosts Germany on December 15 in Cologne.
The Spain match could take place on October 11 in Murcia while a game with World Cup finalists France could be scheduled for February 7.
Along with the September 3 match against Brazil in London, new coach Alfio Basile faces a real baptism of fire.
Argentina may also play friendlies against Turkey, possibly on November 15 in Cologne, and world champions Italy, most likely next year.
These matches have been organised due to the contract between the AFA and Russian group Renova, who have an agreement to arrange 25 international friendlies for the Argentina national team until 2011.
