River Plate striker Ariel Ortega has revealed he is undergoing further treatment for an addiction problem.
The 32-year-old former Argentina international has pulled out of training with the club in order to overcome his personal problems.
Ortega also received treatment for an addiction three months ago.
"I am very bad," he told Clarin newspaper. "I am not thinking about football today. Football has taken a back seat in my life now. I do not know what I am going to do. When I know, I will say more. But I have all the support and it is very valuable," added the former Valencia and Parma player.
Mario Israel, the general secretary at River, added: "Ariel wants to cure his problem. He told us that he is going to do his best."
