Olympic champion Argentina qualified for the 2008 Games in Beijing by beating Uruguay 1-0 with the last touch of the game in the South American under-20 championship on Sunday.
Uruguay, needing a draw to qualify, had been set to go in place of its neighbor after enjoying the better of the match at the Defensores del Chaco stadium. But Lautaro Costa headed in from a corner in the third minute of injury-time and there was not even time for the stunned Uruguayans to kick off again.
