Unsure future of Tevez (22 May 2007 06:11 GMT)
West Ham's Jonathan Spector has admitted controversial striker Carlos Tevez may not be playing alongside him at Upton Park next season.
The Argentina star, whose transfer from Corinthians last August remains the center of a heated argument which has now involved FIFA and could yet demote the Hammers to the Championship, is also the reported target of a number of top European clubs, including Chelsea and Real Madrid.
"He is a top class player," Spector told YA, "and we would love to have him at the club. You can see what impact he has made, especially in the last half of the season, but whether he stays or not, I have absolutely no idea."
Tevez's displays in the final stages of the season were instrumental in pulling the Hammers clear of the relegation zone.
