Fernando Gago, after joining the Real Madrid pre-season camp, stated his desire to win back a central midfield position.
"I'm delighted to have returned to training with Real Madrid and to be with my companions," Gago said. "Things are looking good so far. I'm mostly concentrating on physical training. You really need to work on strength to succeed in La Liga."
"I've been working with the team as well as on my physical abilities. Now, with the upcoming friendlies, I'll get to know the tactical ideas of the manager," Gago added.
Fernando Gago arrived at the Bernabeu from Boca Juniors earlier this year.
