Gracian to replace Riquelme (15 Aug 2007 15:36 GMT)
After the confirmation that Juan Roman Riquelme will leave Boca Juniors the Argentine giants are looking to sign Monterrey talented midfielder Leandro Gracian as his replacement.
The former Velez Sarsfield playmaker has been a target of the club for a few seasons now, and has shown an interest to return to Argentine football.
According to prized journalist Mariano Closs: "A decision to whether Leandro Gracian will join Boca will be made between Tuesday and Wednesday, the priority from today to Wednesday is Gracian, then we will see?.
Boca manager Miguel Angel Russo recently told the press that the player will fit perfectly into his plans, as the side looks to win their first championship in three seasons.
